On the 27th October 2009 Nevaeh Dee Walton passed away at Rainbow's children's hospice in her Mummy's arms. She had her Daddy, Grandma Dee, Grandad Roy & Auntie nikki around her. Her little heart couldn't cope anymore. She did well to last 6 weeks with us. Nevaeh didn't go to a funeral place to rest she went back to rainbow's where they had a room called the quiet room. Her mummy & daddy laid her in her moses's basket untill her casket came. They put on her favourite pyjamas, she had her favourite milk in with her and she even had her favourite big blue dummy in her mouth. Family placed certain memory things in her casket. She looked so peaceful and even had her frown that she always did upon her face. Neveah was never alone in the room, if the family wasn't there then she had her favourite song playing (twinkle twinkle little star) in the room that her mummy played to her from the start she was at Rainbow's. Her casket was pink and it had a beautiful sparkle tiara on top. On the day of her funeral her grandad Roy walked her out of Rainbow's hospice for the last time. I stood up and read a poem out to her. I didn't think i could do it but i wanted to make her proud and read it out myself. She had twinkle twinkle little star playing on entrance then michael jackson (you are not alone) in the middle of the service then over the rainbow on the way out. Her daddy carried her in. She had a lot of people there who loved her and also people who wanted to pay there respect's. She had alot of beautiful flowers from people. We let 10 pink balloons of at her graveside and sent them to heaven. It will be a day that i will never forget but a day i wish never happened.
