The life of my niece Nevaeh Dee Walton. An inspirational little girl ❤️ The baby who didn't read the rule book the consultants and doctors said.. When my sister fount out she was pregnant we were all overjoyed as my sister thought she couldn't have any children. My sister then fount out at her first scan that Nevaeh Had a poorley heart but can be operated on but it ment she would have to be rushed straight to Glenfield Leicster after she were born and be in there for a couple of weeks as it was a serious operation. But then on the 10th September 2009 Nevaeh was born very poorley. She had to have help to breathe for 5 mintues. She got rushed to Leicster Royal infirmary for test's and that was when we got told the dreaded news. Nevaeh had brain damage. She were in intensive care on a ventulator. We were told Nevaeh couldn't breathe on her own so that was when my sister decided to turn of the machines so she could be in peace. Nevaeh had other plans... She went to Rainbow's children Hospice in loughborough for end of life care. The staff at Rainbow's couldn't believe how long she was lasting to say she was Brain damaged. Even the consultants who looked after her were amazed. She was treated like any other baby despite her disability. All the family started to get there hopes up as the doctor's and consultant's decided we could take her home as she were doing so well. Feeding and doing the thing's other babies would do (apart from being lively) but then the day before she were due home Nevaeh Passed away in her mother's arms aged 6 weeks & 5 days old.. The amubalance team tried everything to resusatate her but she already had slipped away... Nevaeh will never be forgotton as she were special in everyway and shown alot of courage and determination to everyone who came into contact with her.. Nevaeh went into a queit room at Rainbow's untill her funeral. It was the best place Nevaeh could of spent her final weeks. Everybody at Rainbow's shown care, love and dedication and i am proud that they were all apart of Nevaeh's short life. I miss her loads and i know there isn't nothing i could do to bring her back and that hurt's me the most as i want her back where she belong's. I am proud to have you as my Niece Nevaeh!!! Love you with all my heart until we meet again. Keep hold of the photo Nevaeh until the family chain links again. xxxxxxx Love heartbroken Auntie Laura & baby cousin's Scott & Jessica xxxx
